Heinrich Klaasen on no-ball controversy
Heinrich scored an unbeaten 80 runs off 34 balls with seven sixes and four fours.

Former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener is working as an assistant coach with Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League 2024. He said that the success mantra in T20 cricket is to bat fearlessly.

According to him, Heinrich Klaasen has changed the style of T20 cricket with his fearless approach and is the best in the world in the slam-bang version of the game.

“The cricket was different on our days. The batting style has changed now and T20 cricket is enjoyable. I saw the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in bits and pieces but klaasen was sensational with the bat. He is batting well in this IPL,” Klusener said.

Heinrich scored an unbeaten 80 runs off 34 balls with seven sixes and four fours. SRH won the game by 31 runs. Travis Head (62), Abhishek Sharma (63), and Aiden Markram (42*) hit runs as Hyderabad posted 277/3 in 20 overs.

“Klaasen understands the format well. He has set new standards in the game with his fearless batting and I don’t think anybody is near to him right now in the world. He is doing the same job which MS Dhoni used to do for Team India in the past.”

Klusener said Klaasen has the right vision. ‘He can hit the ball with power, and he knows which areas to target. He trains hard for the game, and he has got great power and swing of the bat.”
