The players were in a light mood and were ready for the El Clasico in the IPL.

In a video, Rohit can be seen taking over the role of driver for the team bus as the supporters go wild. The clip shows Rohit coming into the seat of a driver. The fans roared in joy and clicked Sharma’s picture. Rohit also enjoyed his new role as his teammates were left in a split. The players shared laughs with the veteran. The incident occurred when the team left for the hotel after the practice session.

Earlier, Rohit, who hails from Mumbai, used his car to arrive at the Wankhede Stadium. The number of his car is 264, which happens to be his highest score in one-day internationals. He slammed a double century against Sri Lanka at the Eden Garden Stadium, Kolkata.

Rohit has played a coup,e of cameos in the 17th season of the tournament.

The El Clasico of the cash-rich league will see Rohit turn up against Dhoni. MI and CSK are being led by new captains Hardik Pandya and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Hardik was traded back to Mumbai from Gujarat Titans and then replaced Rohit. On the other hand, Dhoni left the captaincy a day before the season’s first game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and handed the captain’s armband to Gaikwad.
