Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul has won the toss and elected to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024. “The pitch looks good and a few big scores have been achieved over here. We want to put Hyderabad under pressure by batting first. Our remaining games are not at home but we know a bit about the conditions. Playing at home gives you crowd support but we are not too concerned. Our focus is to score heavily in the powerplay overs and that take it forward from there on,” KL Rahul said.
Pat Cummins would have batted first as well. “We wanted to bat first but we have won matches batting first and chasing over here. I know we have been off colour in some matches and need to pick ourselves up in the remaining matches,” Pat Cummins said.
