Two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders will play their first game of this year’s season against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Kolkata. Ahead of the season opener, Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of the team, has posted a video on his official Twitter account, to offer a pep talk for the players and fans.

The team’s weakness seems to be their batting lineup. The lack of depth could be their biggest nemesis in the 12th edition of the tournament.
New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson, England’s Harry Gurney, South Africa’s Anrich Nortje and West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite will play a crucial role in the bowling department.
