Umesh Yadav is going through a rough patch. Neither he is doing well in IPL nor he was too good for India in recent times. In 2019 IPL, Umesh Yadav has picked 8 wickets in 10 games and conceded runs at an economy of 9.60. He has also been in and out of the Indian team. The Vidarbha pacer has not been selected in India’s 15-Man squad for World Cup though he travelled with the team to England for ODIs, last year.

“Everybody is saying I am not bowling well and why is this happening? Because in last two years I continued playing all formats in domestic level, but after that, I have not played too many ODIs or T20s. I am just picked for 2 to 3 games, then again get dropped,” said Umesh.

“Everyone is thinking I am not giving my best, but it is not. It happens for every fast bowler. Sometimes too many things go into your head. Sometimes, there definitely is confidence, but other times I feel I am not having my time this year. Hence, that is the problem this year. Actually my rhythm and everything is not going my way,” he added.
