Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan finally came back to form in the semi-final against New Zealand. The duo took Pakistan over the line in the crucial ICC T20 World Cup contest.
Babar was dismissed after scoring 53 off 42 balls, with the help of 7 fours. On the other hand, Rizwan smashed 57 off 43 balls. Apart from hitting their respective fifties, they also added 105 runs in 12.4 overs.
The two were lauded by fans for their impressive batting display.
Earlier, Pakistan bowlers bowled a tight line and length to the Kiwi batters from the start. The Kane-Williamson-led team managed just 154 in 20 overs, with Daryl Mitchell amassing 53 not out 0ff 35 balls.
