Kolkata Knight Riders have signed Allah Ghazanfar as a replacement for Mujeeb Ur Rahman. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have signed Keshav Maharaj in place of injured Prasidh Krishna.

Allah Ghazanfar has played 2 ODIs for Rajasthan. The youngster has been a part of 3 T20 games and 6 List A matches, taking 5 and 4 wickets, respectively.

He will join the two-time champions for INR 20 lakh. Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna recently underwent surgery on his left proximal quadriceps tendon and is currently recovering.

He missed the last season of the tournament as well due to an injury. Krishna’s fitness issues have impacted him in the previous few years, and he has missed several series for Team India. Prasidh was given his Test debut in the two-match Test series against South Africa, but he failed to impress and was dropped.

His replacement, Keshav Maharaj, has played regularly for South Africa across formats. The versatile spinner has represented the Proteas in 27 T20Is, 44 ODIs, and 50 Tests and has scalped 237 wickets across formats.

He has competed in 159 T20s, taking 130 wickets, and can contribute with the bat. The 2008 champions have bought him for INR 50 lakh.
