Former India player Gautam Gambhir has made a big statement about MS Dhoni, which might not go well with the fans of the most successful skippers of all time.
Dhoni is currently preparing for the Indian Premier League 2023, in which he will captain Chennai Super Kings, a franchise with four IPL titles.
It is most likely to be the last season of the maestro in Yellow jersey as he wanted to retire in front of the home fans in Chepauk, and his wish will be fulfilled as the tournament is returning to a home-and-away basis after a couple of seasons.
Meanwhile, Dhoni has lost his midas touch with the bat and no longer plays aggressive shots. However, he goes for big strokes in the net sessions.
Commenting on the same matter, Gambhir said no batter bats better than Dhoni in the nets.
“When it comes to IPL, no one bats better in the nets than MS Dhoni,” he said. Gautam has been a mentor with Lucknow Super Giants since last year.
