MS Dhoni’s reflexes haven’t slowed down despite him being 42 years old. He completed a sensational catch of Vijay Shankar on the delivery of Daryl Mitchell in the CSK vs GT IPL 2024 match. The ball took an outside edge of the batter’s bat and was travelling, but Dhoni timed his dive to right to perfection to grab it in his gloves.

The former CSK skipper was surrounded by his teammates who congratulated him for his effort on the field. The GT all-rounder scored 12 off 12 balls.

Chasing 207 runs for their second win in a row, the Titans lost captain Shubman Gill (8) and Wriddhiman Saha (21) early on in the innings.

Dhoni has been magnificent behind the stumps for more than a decade in the Indian Premier League, and despite undergoing knee surgery last year, he returned to the 17th season in perfect shape.

Earlier, the fans were expecting to see him bat in the death overs, but Dhoni allowed the youngster Sameer Rizvi and Ravindra Jadeja to bat ahead of him.

A sublime fifty-plus score from Shivam Dube and vital contributions from Rachin Ravindra Jadeja and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad took the score above 200 in 20 overs.
