Pat Cummins interacted with Virat Kohli in Hyderabad
The duo shared a heart-warming interaction ahead of SRH vs RCB

Despite the Royal Challengers Bengaluru enduring a poor run in the ongoing Indian Premier League, star batter Virat Kohli has excelled with the bat this year as he is currently leading the Orange Cap standings. Kohli will next face the high-flying Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have been sensational under captain Pat Cummins in IPL 2024.

SRH and RCB will meet again on Thursday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. In their last match, SRH shattered many IPL records by scoring 287/3, the highest score in the history of the tournament. RCB will hope for a stronger bowling performance this time around.

As the two teams prepared for their high-stakes match, a video of Kohli and Cummins interacting went viral online. Cummins, who was batting in the nets, approached Kohli as he rested after an intense training session. Shaking Kohli’s hand, Cummins said, “I overheard you say that my batting made the pitch look flat,” he said.

Kohli chuckled at this before giving the SRH captain a compliment. The RCB great replied, “You are too good, Pat.”

Watch-

In their previous encounter between the two teams, a total of 549 runs were scored, which is a T20 record. RCB put up a valiant effort in response and reached 262/7 in their run chase at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Royal Challengers have tried to make up for their weak bowling, creating an all-around balanced team remains an immense challenge. In their last match against Kolkata Knight Riders, RCB showed tremendous determination with the bat, but their valiant 223-run chase fell just short by 1 run.
