Sunil Gavaskar England Bazball

England have fought well in the ongoing five-match Test series against India. The visitors conceded defeat in three games, but the scoreline doesn’t show the actual story. The English batters have gone hard against the Indian bowlers, hitting fours and sixes.

Former India player Sunil Gavaskar has become a fan of the current England team and is ready to go miles to watch them play.

“Their brand of cricket is exciting. The shots they play on the new ball tell you the real story. Their sweeps are pleasing to watch. I would go miles to watch their game.

“However, they have realised that Bazball will not work on the Indian pitches and against the Indian spinners. We saw them changing their style of play in the fourth Test in Ranchi and brough the game close. England adopted yo traditional style of play and it help them to put India under pressure,” he told Rajdeep Sirdesai on India Today.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is my Player of the Series, says Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar lauded Yashasvi Jaiswal for his phenomenal run with the bat. The southpaw has crossed the 600-run mark in four Tests so far.

“He is certainly my Player of the Series. Scoring above 600 runs is no small feat. It is good to score two double hundreds in a Test career but this boy has done it in a series,” Sunil Gavaskar added.
