RCB captain Faf du Plessis has won the toss and invited Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first in the Indian Premier League IPL 2024. “The pitch looks fine and it is a good chasing ground. We haven’t done well so far but it is a new day and we have another opportunity to do the basics right. Cameron Green, Mohammed Siraj and Katn Sharma are back in the playing XI,” Faf du Plessis said.
Shreyas Iyer would have bowled first as well. “The pitch will be slow in the first innings and that’s why we wanted to bowl first as well. We know this ground well and have already played a day game over here. We will have to bat really well to put up a good total on the board. The batters have done well. We are playing with the same team,” Shreyas Iyer said.
