New Delhi: Several records were broken during Sunrisers Hyderbad’s home game against Mumbai Indians on March 27, as aggregated 523 runs were scored, the most in any T20 match. SRH, who won the match by 31 runs, batted first and put 277 runs on the board.
In reply, Mumbai put on a good show but managed to score just 246 runs. Abhishek Sharma won the player of the match award for his 63 (23) but Heinrich Klaasen was the leading run-getter in the match for his 80 (34). The South African, who was SRH’s leading run-getter last season, continued his great form as it was his 2nd straight fifty of this season and is also holding the orange cap at the moment.

Klaasen and his wife Sone Martins have a daughter named Laya, born on December 2, 2022. They got married in 2015 and Martins is a healthcare professional on sabbatical.
Klaasen wasn’t the only big hitter for SRH. After losing his opening partner Mayank Agarwal (11) early, Travis Head smacked 62 runs off 24 balls, including nine fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma hammered 63 off 23 balls, clattering three fours and seven sixes in the process. Former SRH skipper Aiden Markram remained unbeaten with Klaasen with a knock of 42 off 28 balls.
