Rishabh Pant couldn’t win the toss in the first T20I against South Africa but the batters didn’t let the team down at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad played aggressively from the start. Ishan amassed 76 with help of 11 fours and 3 sixes. On the other hand, Gaikwad hit 3 biggies.

Shreyas Iyer, who showed his class, added 3 sixes and a four in his individual score of 36.

Captain Rishabh Pant, who smashed 2 fours and as many sixes, was dismissed after scoring 29.

Hardik Pandya was the most attacking of the lot, hitting 3 sixes and 2 fours in his knock. He scored an unbeaten 31 at a strike rate of 258.33.

The Men in Blue achieved an important milestone in the shortest format of the game. This is the first time ever that 4 Indian batsmen hit 3 sixes in a T20I.
