CSK win by 28 runs
Harshal Patel dismissed MS Dhoni for a golden duck in the fifth ball of the 19th over.

Punjab Kings pacer Harshal Patel didn’t celebrate after dismissing former CSK captain MS Dhoni for a golden duck in Sunday’s match. Harshal stated that he did not celebrate because he respect the 42-year-old icon a lot.

In his four-over spell, Harshal conceded 24 runs at an economy rate of 6.00 while taking three wickets. In the fifth ball of the 19th over, he got rid of Dhoni for a golden duck.

After the first innings, Patel claimed that the Dharamsala pitch was a bit dry and the ball was reversing from the first over of the match,

“I respect him too much to celebrate his (MS Dhoni) wicket. The surface was a little bit drier. Playing a day game has various benefits, one of which is the square’s rough surface. The ball then begins to reverse. It was reversing in my initial attempt. It all comes down to how that delivery lands. As you bowl more, your skills improve. Not many batters pick it. I’m working on my bowling in the nets, and it is producing excellent results,” stated Harshal.

Summarizing the game, Punjab choose to bowl after winning the toss. Ravindra Jadeja , Ruturaj Gaikwad , and Daryl Mitchell stood out with the bat and helped the visitors score 167/9. In front of the PBKS bowling attack, not a single batter was able to stick around for a long time.

Punjab Kings bowled with incredible efficiency, preventing CSK from building partnerships. The PBKS bowling attack was spearheaded by Harshal Patel and Rahul Chahar, who claimed three wickets each, respectively . CSK managed to put 167 runs in 20 overs.

Then, CSK bowlers dominated with ball and tore trough the home side’s batting line-up. Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3 wickets in his spell and the Punjab-side was not able to settle down and managed 139-9. CSK won the reverse fixture by 28 runs.
