Pakistan, who had won the 2017 Champions Trophy started off poorly against West Indies in their first game of the World Cup. There are a lot of expectations from Pakistan to do well as their performance in England has been quite exceptional. They have won Champions Trophy and World T20 here and were also finalists in the 1999 World Cup in England and Wales.

But it didn’t start well for them as Windies defeated them by seven wickets. Windies pace attack blew away Pakistan’s batting, who somehow could just cross the 100-run mark.

Former Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar blasted Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed questioning his fitness in a video. He called Sarfraz “unfit” and also questioned his wicket-keeping. “When Sarfaraz Ahmed came for the toss, his stomach was sticking out and his face was so fat. He’s the first captain I’ve seen who is so unfit. He’s not able to move across and he’s struggling with wicket-keeping,” said Akhtar.
