India all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, who suffered a injury during the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, is currently enjoying his time away from international cricket.
Jadeja recently took to his official Twitter handle and shared a video of three lions roaming around at the Gir National Park.
“Woah ! Best experience ever,” Jadeja captioned the video.
This is not the first time when Jadeja has captured a lion. In 2018, the 32-year-old had posted a video while posing with an animal in South Africa.
As far as cricket is concerned, Jadeja is likely to miss the entire four-match Test series against England and his participation in the limited-overs fixtures is also in doubt.
“He is out of Test series and he will take more than six weeks to recover completely. The selectors will take a call later, whether to include him in the team for the shorter formats,” a BCCI official told the Indian Express.
If Jadeja misses the white-ball series against England, he is likely to return to the action in the upcoming 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. He will represent the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Talking of the ongoing Test match, Joe Root’s men posted a mammoth total of 578 run on board in the first innings against Kohli & Co.
In response, Indian batsmen failed to put pressure on the England bowlers and were bundled out for 337.
At the end of fourth day’s play, the hosts were 39/1 with Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara in the middle.
