Meanwhile, skipper Sanju Samson was the top scorer in the match with 55(32). For the first time in IPL’s history, the top three batters for Rajasthan scored fifty-plus scores. The Royals put 203/5 on the board after 20 overs.
In reply, Sunrisers lost wickets at regular intervals and were on course to tumble below 100 runs, but Abdul Samad and Umran Malik scored runs toward the end. In the last two overs, the duo added 36 runs to the total, which helped SRH gather 131 after 20 overs.
