Hadlee has lauded Kohli’s competitive spirit in the game and called him a “passionate cricketer”. The 69-year-old also pointed out that Virat is under immense pressure every time he takes the field but his strong will to succeed has certainly helped him over the years in international cricket.
“I see Virat as being a very passionate and competitive cricketer with a strong desire for himself and the team to succeed. He is a proud man and a world-class player – a delight to watch,” Hadlee told The Times of India
“The pressure and expectations on him to win is enormous. Millions idolize him which puts great pressure on him,” he added.
