Sandeep Sharma no-ball against SRH
Fans accused Sandeep of spot-fixing against SRH

Sunrisers Hyderabad scripted a historic four-wicket win against Rajasthan Royals on the last ball of the match courtesy of a Sandeep Sharma no-ball.

Chasing a big total of 215 runs, SRH required 17 runs to win off the last over, which was bowled by Sandeep Sharma, who sealed a great win for RR against CSK in a similar situation. However, things went oppositive for the Royals this time as Sandeep bowled a no-ball on the last ball, on which Abdul Samad gave an easy catch to Jos Buttler.

When everyone thought RR won, and celebrations began, the siren went on, and Sharma had to re-ball the delivery on which SRH required 4 to win. Abdul smashed a six to keep SRH’s hopes alive in the tournament. Here is the video of the no-ball.

After the defeat, angry fans accused Sharma of spot-fixing and made distasteful remarks about the right-arm seamer. Further, they also pointed out the easy catches dropped by Sanju Samson and also the crucial missed chance by Obed McCoy on the first ball of the 20th over. Here are some of the reactions.

After four overs, Sandeep registered the figures of 0/48.
