Batting first after losing the toss, LSG posted 154/7 and then held RR to 144/6. Here are the player ratings for RR vs LSG IPL 2023 match 26.

Lucknow Super Giants

KL Rahul (7/10): Was among the runs again, but his strike rate remains a major concern. Was dropped twice but yet ended up scoring only 39 off 32 balls, hitting four fours and a six. Was out disappointingly, giving a catch to long-on. Impressed with his captaincy. Took the crucial catch of Shimron Hetmyer.

Kyle Mayers (7/10): Notched up his third half-century of the series. Scored 51 off 42. Got in, but failed to carry on. Hit four fours and three sixes before being bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin.

Deepak Hooda (3/10): Added to his long list of failures. Was out for 2 off 4. Was caught at deep square leg, trying to go after Ravichandran Ashwin. Took a brilliant catch to dismiss Dhruv Jurel.

Marcus Stoinis (9.5/10): Contributed a handy 21 off 16, hitting two fours. Was excellent with the ball. Dismissed both RR openers and finished with figures of 2/28. Brought LSG back into the game after Rajasthan’s solid start.

Nicholas Pooran (6/10): Scored 29 off 20 with the help of two fours and a six. Got off to a slow start before taking on Jason Holder and lifting LSG past 150.

Ayush Badoni (0.5/10): Tried to get too cheeky against Trent Boult without getting his eye in. Was bowled for 1, looking to scoop the left-arm pacer.

Naveen-ul-Haq (8/10): Did not get a wicket but kept things extremely tight. Conceded only 19 runs in his four overs to stifle RR.

Avesh Khan (9/10): Bowled a brilliant spell of 3/25. Dismissed Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel to derail RR’s chase.

Rajasthan Royals

Jos Buttler (6.5/10): Struggled with his momentum on the day. Scored 40 off 41 balls. Hit only four fours and a six during his innings. Fell to Marcus Stoinis, pulling a back-of-a-length delivery to deep midwicket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (8/10): Scored a brisk 44 off 35 balls. Hit four fours and two sixes before being dismissed by Marcus Stoinis. Was caught at the short third man while trying to guide the ball.
