Harshit Rana Abhishek Flying Kiss celebration
He was already sanctioned for the same celebration in the Indian Premier League 2024.

Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Harshit Rana wanted to give a flying kiss send-off to Abhishek Porel in the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals at the Eden Gardens but stopped due to the fear of a fine by the BCCI. He was already sanctioned for the same celebration in the Indian Premier League 2024.

Porel was looking good before he was bowled by Harshit. He had hit two fours and a six in his 18-run knock off 15 balls. DC captain Rishabh Pant was seen talking to Abhishek as he wanted to stitch an important partnership between the two, but the 21-year-old couldn’t continue. Rana, who took two wickets, was about to blow a kiss before stopping mid-way.

He was fined 60 per cent of his match fees during his IPL debut against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After dismissing Mayank Agarwal in the sixth over, Rana walked before the SRH opener and blew him a flying kiss.

Harshit has bowled well for the two-time champions in the limited chances, and the KKR mentor, Gautam Gambhir, is backing him. The Shreyas Iyer-led team has won five matches and lost three contests.
