Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya are in competition for the pace bowling all-rounder for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Dube is leading the race after his impressive batting for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024. He is the top run-scorer for the defending champions in the ongoing season.

Hardik, who is leading Mumbai Indians, hasn’t contributed in any department of the game. His batting, bowling and captaincy have led to MI’s defeat in several matches.

However, Navjot Singh Sidhu doesn’t rate these two as the two best Indian all-rounders. For him, the top spot is occupied by Axar Patel of Delhi Capitals.

He commented after the Capitals promoted Axar in the batting order. The left-handed star batted at the number three spot, amassing 66 runs off 45 balls, with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes.

“Axar Patel is the number one Indian all-rounder. He was promoted in the batting order and justified his promotion. It was him, who allowed Rishabh Pant to score freely. Axar deserves to play for India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024,” Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Star Sports.

Patel is not in contention for the global event as Hardik, Dube and Ravindra Jadeja are considered more impactful than him in the shortest format of the game.
