Bevon Jacobs is a South African-born New Zealand cricketer representing Auckland in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He is a right-handed batsman known for his aggressive style and ability to score quickly. Jacobs first gained attention with record-breaking innings in a local Christchurch competition, which led to his selection for Canterbury in the 2023-24 season. He made an immediate impact with a quickfire 42 on his T20 debut. In 2024, Jacobs was picked for the New Zealand T20I squad against Sri Lanka, although he did not play in any matches. Mumbai Indians subsequently bought him in the 2024 IPL auction.
