Rishabh Pant and Yuzvendra Chahal are the two match winners who sat on the bench for most of the group-stage matches for India in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.
Ace leg-spinner Chahal has not featured in any match, while Pant got the opportunity to play in the last league match against Zimbabwe.
The southpaw was not able to score with his bat but has hogged headlines for giving a befitting reply to a fan mocking him by using the name of Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
In the first four matches, when Pant was out of the team, he contributed to the side by being the 12th man.
A video has surfaced on the net, where Pant is crossing the boundary line with drinks in his hand when a rude fan teases him with ‘Urvashi bula rhi hai (Urvashi is calling you)’ remark.
To which Pant gave an apt reply and said, “Jaake lele phir (Go and take her then).”
Here is the video doing rounds on the internet.
However, this behaviour by the rude fan has not gone well with the fans and criticised such people for mocking cricketers.
A user recalled Virat Kohli’s action when the former Indian skipper had shut a rude fan for mocking Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
The fan wrote, “Wahiyat log. Looks like Virat’s message of not treating cricketers like a commodity has fallen on deaf ears.”
