Former Pakistan skipper and one of the greatest bowlers in the history of cricket, Waqar Younis has expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.

More than 212 Palestinian people, including 65 children, have lost their lives in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

Amid the tensed situation, several past and present cricketers have come forward to support the people of Palestine and raised their voices against the Israeli attacks. Legendary Pakistan cricketer, Waqar Younis, was no different.

Younis has also joined the protesters in Sydney and rallies across the world against Israeli military attacks.

The 49-year-old recently took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “Ya ALLAH help our brothers and sisters in #Palestine. Expressing solidarity with Palestinians #FreePalaestine Joining the protesters in Sydney and the rallies around the world against Israeli military attacks @13kamilkhan @AzaanWaqar.”

Earlier, the likes of Babar Azam, Azhar Ali and Shadab Khan also prayed for the people of Palestine.

“Prayers for the people of Palestine. We just have to be human to stand up for humanity,” the Pakistan skipper wrote on the micr0-blogging platform.

On the other hand, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan said that no crime is more heinous than the killing of children.

“As an athlete who plays cricket around the world, I want to see this world out of war. I can’t watch people being killed in #Afghanistan & #Palestine. No crime is more heinous than the killing of a child,” Rashid tweeted.
