Yashasvi Jaiswal played one of the finest knocks in the history of the Indian Premier League.
He scored 124 off 62 balls against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. The southpaw hit 16 fours and 8 sixes, with his runs coming at a strike rate of 200.
The young batter single-handedly took RR to 212/7 while other players failed to get going against MI.
He was lauded by Virender Sehwag and Anil Kumble, who also took a dig at the five-time champions.
“Jai Sawaal ka nahi koi Jawaab. One of the finest hundreds you will see, 124, when the next best is extras with 25. Great temperament, Yashasvi Jaiswal is bawaal. #MIvRR,” Sehwag tweeted.
In his conversation with Jio Cinema, Kumble said: “It was a brilliant effort from Yashasvi. The next best was the extras, and that says a lot. The way he batted was brilliant. He outscored Jos Buttler and other senior batters in the team,” he said.
