Harbhajan Singh and Virat Kohli
Harbhajan Singh fears another Virat-Gambhir clash

The final spot for the playoff round would be decided on the last day of the group stage round, as only Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals are in contention to qualify.

Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings have acquired the first two spots on the table, while Lucknow Super Giants became the third team to qualify. Out of the three teams in the race, RCB have the best chance, as they have a positive net-run rate, and a win against Gujarat Titans could see them face Lucknow Super Giants in the first eliminator.

Notably, LSG and RCB have formed a new rivalry in IPL because of the infamous Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli altercation. Virat and Gambhir engaged in an ugly spat during the post-match handshake after RCB’s win over LSG on May 1.

In the latest development, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is a part of the broadcasting team, expressed his concerns over the possibility of another LSG-RCB match and remarked that he fears another Virat-Gambhir clash.

“If Gambhir and Kohli face each other again, I hope they do not clash again. I am only concerned about that.”

Notably, when the two fought on May 1, Harbhajan expressed his disappointment and wrote, “I Am Ashamed Of What I Did With Sreesanth In 2008. Virat Kohli Is A Legend, Should Not Get Involved In Such Things. Whatever Happened Between Virat And Gambhir Was Not Right For Cricket.”
