Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and KL Rahul are poised to participate in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy matches. The trio will reconnect with their teams before the three-match ODI series against New Zealand beginning January 11.
According to Cricbuzz, Shubman Gill is expected to feature for Punjab in their January 3 clash with Sikkim and January 6 encounter with Goa in Jaipur. Sitting fourth in Group C behind Mumbai, Punjab have claimed two victories from three matches. Following these outings, Gill will join the Indian squad in Baroda on January 7-8 as preparations begin for the first ODI against New Zealand.
Ravindra Jadeja has confirmed to the Saurashtra Cricket Association that he will feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy clashes on January 6 and 8 against Services and Gujarat. The team, competing in Alur, Karnataka, currently sit sixth in their eight-team group with one victory from three outings.
KL Rahul may represent Karnataka in their upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy matches on January 3 and 6 against Tripura and Rajasthan. Karnataka are dominating Group A, winning three consecutive games.
