The Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was in good touch with both bat and ball in the IPL 2021, before the tournament was suspended due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
The 32-year-old notched up 131 runs in seven games at a brilliant average of 131 and a strike rate of more than 160. Jadeja also scalped six wickets in the IPL 2021 at an economy rate of 6.70.
According to Styris, a “terrific cricketer” like Ravindra Jadeja is capable of doing anything at the highest level.
Lauding his all-round skills, Styris also termed the Indian stalwart as one of the best fielders in the world at the moment.
“I love his fielding ability. Along with, Glenn Maxwell, I think he is probably the best fielder in the world at the moment. And you always separate yourself from your ability to throw the stumps down and effect those run-outs. I think that’s where he is better than everybody else,” the 45-year-old said on Star Sports Network.
Baffled by the criticism of CSK star, Styris said, “I could never understand any of the criticism that came in Jadeja’s way. He is a terrific cricketer, he can do absolutely everything at the top highest level.”
