Samson was candid in his assessment of the game, saying things can’t be taken for granted until the match ends. “This is what IPL gives you. Matches like these make the IPL special. You can never, never, never feel like you have won the game,” he said.
Royals skipper Samson was sure that Sandeep Sharma would defend 17 runs in the final over as he has done in the past (against CSK), but the no-ball proved to be the difference. Samson said he would have felt much better if they had won the game.
