Naveen-ul-Haq posted a picture with a caption sweet mangoes after Virat Kohli was dismissed for one run in a game between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The two had a heated argument earlier in Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s match, and the fans speculated that the pacer was mocking Virat using mangoes as a reference.
However, Naveen has clarified that he was having the fruit while watching that game, and his caption had nothing to do with Virat, and fans took it in a different direction.
“I told Dhawal (Kulkarni) Bhai when would he get mangoes for me as it was the season. He brought mangoes for me on that very day when MI was up against RCB. I was watching the game and put up a random post and the picture I put not even had Virat in it. My post showed Mumbai Indians players,” he told LSG.
Naveen was trolled by fans, using mangoes as a reference when Mumbai eliminated Lucknow from the playoffs.
