MS Dhoni is enjoying the limelight in the Indian Premier League 2023. Fans are following him everywhere. The favourite son of Chennai was again lauded by a large sea of fans at Chepauk.
They stayed back to listen to their captain after CSK‘s game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Speaking to Harsha Bhogle, he made a brutal confession.
“I am in the last leg of my career as I am growing old. They are behind me and I can’t complain about it,” he said.
Bhogle was taken aback by Dhoni’s statement. “You are not getting old. Look at your catches and stumping behind the stumps,” he said.
Dhoni was quick to respond. “Let’s accept the reality that age is catching up on me. It is good to be back at Chepauk after years. We haven’t played much cricket at home,” he added.
