India skipper Virat Kohli is known for his enthusiasm on the field. He never shies away from expressing his emotions on the field.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently shared a compilation of Virat’s different expressions during the finale of the inaugural World Test Championship.
Sharing the clip on its official Twitter handle, ICC wrote, “The many faces of Virat Kohli! Which one will we have at the end of play today? #WTC21 Final #INDvNZ.”
In the video, the 32-year-old can be seen celebrating the wickets of New Zealand batsmen in his trademark explosive manner.
Virat Kohli surprised everyone when he came out to bat towards the end of the fifth day’s play at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. After the departure of swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma in the second innings, no one expected to see Virat in the middle but the skipper went against the normal norm of sending a nightwatchman.
The former Australia cricketer Brad Hogg showered praise on the Indian captain.
“India lost two quick wickets last night. Rohit Sharma, just before stumps, was a crucial wicket for NZ to get. But, the one thing I liked about that one particular moment was Virat Kohli not going for the night watchman when he could have,” Hogg stated in his latest YouTube video.
