Wishes have been pouring in from all corners as the Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali are celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.

Many fans and followers have been sharing heart-warming posts for Sachin and Anjali on social media platforms.

Joining the bandwagon, Tendulkar’s childhood friend and former India cricketer Vinod Kambli also took to his official Twitter handle and extended his best wishes to the lovely couple.

Kambli recently shared an unseen picture of Sachin and Anjali from their wedding day.

Captioning the photo, the 49-year-old wrote, “Happy wedding anniversary to my dearest  @sachin_rt and Anjali. Two of the most lovely people. Wish you both lots of happiness and may God bless always!”

The couple got married in 1995 and is blessed with two children Arjun and Sara.

Arjun Tendulkar was the part of Mumbai Indian (MI) squad for the 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). But the marquee tournament was postponed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the IPL 2021 bio-secure bubble.

Earlier, during the launch of Sachin’s autobiography – Playing It My Way, Anjali had revealed an interesting anecdote about her first meeting with the ‘Master Blaster’.

“I had gone to pick my mother at the airport and then I saw him and my friend told me he is the wonder boy of Indian cricket team. I told my friend, ‘Oh! he is so cute’.”

“Then I ran after him and I forgot about my mother. Sachin was so embarrassed and did not even look at me,” said Anjali recollecting the moments.
