Former India cricketer and current batting coach of Punjab Kings, Wasim Jaffer has come up with another coded message for IPL fans ahead of the tournament opener between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.

The 43-year-old on Friday took to his official Twitter handle and shared a picture of Flamingo, asking the fans to guess his favourite player to watch out for in the upcoming encounter.

Captioning the post Jaffer wrote, “Guess my player to watch out for tonight. I’ll reveal the player at 6pm, but let’s see how many decode it before that.”

While some people feel the answer should be Trent Boult, others picked up the name of RCB’s new recruit, Kyle Jamieson.

Here’s see the Twitter reactions

Boult had an excellent outing in the IPL 2020 in UAE. He finished the tournament as the third-highest wicket-taker after Kagiso Rabada and Jasprit Bumrah.

The Kiwi pacer, who was traded by the Delhi Capitals to the Mumbai-based franchise last year, scalped 25 wickets in 15 games at an economy rate of 7.97.

On the other hand, Boult’s compatriot, Jamieson, is all set to make his IPL debut this year. The 26-year-old fast bowler was roped in by the Bangalore-based franchise for a whopping amount of Rs 15 crore in the IPL 2021 auction in Chennai.
