A day after joining the Rajasthan Royals (RR) camp for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, Mustafizur Rahman has shared an interesting message for fans in Bengali.

The 25-year-old fast bowler, who was roped in by the Rajasthan-based franchise for Rs 1 crore in the IPL 2021 auction, has arrived in Mumbai and will now be quarantined for the next seven days as per BCCI’s protocols.

Following his arrival, the Bangladeshi pacer said that he is excited to represent the Royals for the first time in the cash-rich league and will be looking to put up a good show for his team in the IPL 2021.

RR posted the video of Rahman on their official Twitter handle and wrote, Good news has come from Dhaka.”

“This is the first time I’ll be playing for Rajasthan Royals. I’m really excited. I’ll work hard to contribute for the team. Thank You, Royals,” the left-arm pacer said in the video.

Notably, Rahman won’t be available for Rajasthan Royals’ first match against  Punjab Kings on April 12 due to his mandatory isolation period. He is also likely to miss RR’s second encounter against the last year’s runners-up, Delhi Capitals, on April 15 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rahman has played 24 IPL games so far and picked up 24 wickets at an economy rate of 7.51.
