Former players Sunil Gavaskar and Harbhajan Singh want the player to promote himself in the batting order to win games for CSK. They feel he is batting too low, impacting the four-time champions’ chances.
And now former England and KKR player Eoin Morgan has opined on the same matter. He said that Dhoni might push himself up in the order if the side reaches playoffs.
“Dhoni knows what is best for him as a player. We have seen him batting up the order when required. He might do it in IPl 2023 if the team reaches playoffs. I don’t see it happening right now,” said Morgan.
