South African legendary spinner Imran Tahir is currently a part of the Indian Premier League 2023 in the form of a commentator.
During the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings, he was asked the reason behind his running celebration after taking a wicket.
Imran Tahir was renowned for his sprint after dismissing a rival batter. “It was because of my passion. I had gone through a lot and wanted to prove myself in front of world,” he said.
He also revealed the number of teams he played for in his career. “I played for 27 teams in my career. Playing for Chennai Super Kings was special as it was like a family. My association with them will also remain close to my heart,” he added.
