Hasin Jahan, the wife of Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami, who has been living separately from him, has once again levelled serious allegations against the pacer. In an Instagram post, Jahan accused Shami of putting their 10-year-old daughter Aaira’s future at risk due to his alleged womanising behaviour.
Jahan shared a photo of Aaira in her school uniform, proudly announcing that she had started attending an international school. However, she claimed that certain individuals tried everything to block her daughter’s admission to a top school. She also revealed that Shami had refused to contribute to their daughter’s school fees. In a scathing post, Jahan wrote:
“Dushmano ne chaha tha ke meri beti ki koi ache school me admission nahi ho. Lekin Allah ne sab ka muh kala kar dia aur meri beti ki ek bahut ache international school me admission ho gaya. (The enemies wanted that my daughter shouldn’t go to a good school, but Allah showed them shame, and she got admission to an international school,” she wrote.
“Beti k pita ne bahut koshish ki ke meri beti ki schooling ache school se nahi ho lekin pita khuda nahi hai. (My daughter’s father did everything he could to prevent her from studying in a reputable school, but remember, a father is not God),” she added.
“Jis beti ka pita arabpati ho ow pita sirf auratbazi ke wajah se beti ki zindagi se khilwar kar raha tha, aur khud ki rakhel ki bacho ko bade bade school me padha Raha hai. Kuch rakhel ko lakho ka business class flight me ghuma raha hai lekin beti ki padhai ke lie paise nahi nikal raha tha. (Despite being a billionaire, he is ruining his daughter’s life with his womanising ways. He makes sure his mistress’s children study in top schools and flies her business class at high costs, yet he won’t pay for his own daughter’s education,” she concluded.
Shami and Jahan married on June 6, 2014, and welcomed their daughter, Aaira, on July 17, 2015. Their relationship ended on a bitter note, with Jahan accusing Shami of domestic abuse. In July this year, the Calcutta High Court ordered Shami to pay Jahan INR 4 lakh monthly in alimony, with INR 2.5 lakh of that amount designated for Aaira’s care and other expenses.
