After sweeping New Zealand 3-0 in the recently concluded ODI series, the Men in Blue have shifted their focus to the T20I tour, which will begin on January 27.
JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi will host the first game. Any game in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is incomplete without the mention of the local boy, MS Dhoni. On the eve of the first game, the captain cool paid a surprise visit to the Indian dressing room. Photos surfaced on the net, which showed Dhoni greeting and guiding the players.
India skipper Hardik Pandya shared a picture with Dhoni in a vintage bike, with the caption, ‘Sholay 2 coming soon.’ On behalf of the curious fans, the media, during the press conference, asked Hardik about his meeting with Dhoni.
Pandya revealed that he has learnt several things from MS, and now when they meet, they talk about life and not about the game.
“The team loves travelling to Ranchi because we get to leave our hotels and meet Mahi bhai. I have learnt a lot from him and taken every piece of knowledge. So, our talks are based on the life outside of the cricket ground.”
