Hardik Pandya has always admitted the role of MS Dhoni in his career. Despite Dhoni’s retirement from international cricket, Pandya often meets him, which shows their close bond.
The India all-rounder made his debut under Mahi’s captaincy and learned about leadership from India’s most successful captain.
He recently took to social media and uploaded a picture with his friend and mentor in a Sholay style. The two can be seen sitting on a bike with Pandya captioning it, ” Sholay 2 coming soon.”
He played an important role in India’s win in the third and final ODI against New Zealand. He scored a fifty and took a wicket in the Kiwis’ first over to help the team win the contest by 90 runs.
On the other hand, Dhoni has started practice for the Indian Premier League 2023, in which he will lead Chennai Super Kings. After a miserable season in 2022, he would want his players to stand up.
