Harry Brook Indian fans troll
Moody hit back at SRH for releasing Brook

Harry Brook was finally dropped by Sunrisers Hyderabad after a series of failures in the Indian Premier League 2023. He scored a hundred against Kolkata Knight Riders but has nothing to show apart from that knock. In the latest game against Rajasthan Royals, the management pulled the plug on their expensive flop.

The Orange Army shelled out INR 13.25 crore on his services. He came on the target of online trolls after scores of 13, 3 and 13 in his first three matches.

After his ton, he hit back at the trolls, “I was targetted by online trolls mostly Indian fans. They were not happy with my performance. I hope they will not write anything after my hundred. I went with I don’t care mentality against KKR. Glad I could shut them down,” he had said.

Meanwhile, former India player Virender Sehwag recalled Brook’s remark after his exclusion from the playing XI.

“Why would you mess with trolls? There was no need to give them importance. Your work is to score runs for the team and not look at what fans are saying. I think he was more interested in what was being written about him. He should have listened to music, watched movies and went out with friends. And if you perform well, they will clap for you,” said Sehwag.
