Ben Stokes has left Chennai Super Kings to prepare for the upcoming Test match against Ireland. The CSK all-rounder was hampered by injuries during the campaign.
He was also not selected after recovering from his injury concern, keeping in mind the right team combination.
Stokes took to social media to say goodbye to the franchise and fans.
In two matches, Stokes scored just 15 runs and failed to take a wicket. The four-time champions bought him for INR 16.25 crore.
Ben’s injury prone body could limit his chances for the Yellow Army in the next season of the tournament as well.
