BCCI approves KL Rahul’s personal leave for marriage with Athiya Shetty
Rahul failed to perform in the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia

KL Rahul has taken personal leave for his marriage with Athiya Shetty in January 2023. According to the latest report, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has granted him permission.

The couple has been dating for more than three years and is ready to take their relationship to the next level. The two were thinking of getting married in December 2022 but Rahul is a part of the squad for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

Bollywood actor and Athiya’s father, Suniel Shetty confirmed the wedding will soon take place.

The wedding will be held at Suniel Shetty’s luxury house in Khandala, Maharashtra.

Rahul failed to perform in the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. Meanwhile, India will host Sri Lanka for three T20Is and as many ODIs. If the Rahul’s wedding rumours are true, he will miss the six white-ball matches in December and January.
