Amid all the focus on the IPL, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam stole the limelight on April 15 after the Pakistan skipper struck a century against New Zealand in the 2nd T20I of the five-match series.
In the 2nd game, Azam smashed his third T20I hundred and remained unbeaten at 101 (58), which included eleven fours and three sixes.
After his century, the 28-year-old broke a plethora of records. The right-hand batter also equalled Rohit Sharma‘s tally of most fifty-plus T20I scores.
Babar and Rohit have 33 fifty-plus scores in T20Is, the joint-second most. Babar is only behind Virat Kohli in the elite list, as the former India skipper has 38 50+ scores.
