Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach Stephen Fleming confirmed that England all-rounder Ben Stokes has suffered another injury and will be out for one more week.
Stokes, who is the most expensive player in the history of CSK, has played two matches in the Indian Premier League 2023. He has missed four matches so far in the ongoing season.
“Stokes has suffered an injury setback and will be out of action for one week. I am not going to talk much on his injury but it is not a major one. He is working hard so I can’t blame him.”
Fleming said that Dhoni is managing his knee injury well.
“Dhoni is fine as he is managing his injury well. MSD is a team man and the moment he can’t contribute, he will sit out,” he said.
