The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is currently underway, and one team that has caught the attention of fans is the Punjab Kings (PBKS). The Shikhar Dhawan-led team has had a great start to the season, winning both matches. PBKS began their campaign with a seven-run victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), followed by a five-run win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR), last year’s runners-up.

However, PBKS had to begin their campaign without the services of two key players – South African speedster Kagiso Rabada and English all-rounder Liam Livingstone. But now, with Rabada joining the squad, PBKS have shared a short clip on Twitter of him making the classic move from the Allu Arjun movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ which has sent fans into a frenzy.

In the video, Rabada makes the iconic Pushpa dance move, popularized by the South Indian actor Allu Arjun, with perfect precision. PBKS captioned the post as “Flower nahi, fire hai KG,” which translates to “KG is not a flower; he is fire.” This has quickly become a favourite among PBKS fans, with many expressing excitement about Rabada’s arrival and energetic performance on the field.

Rabada, who will be playing his second consecutive IPL season for the Punjab franchise, is known for his impressive bowling skills and ability to take wickets at crucial moments in the game. He has been a vital player for the team, and his addition to the squad will only strengthen PBKS’ chances of winning the tournament.

On the other hand, Liam Livingstone is yet to join the PBKS squad as he has not received a fitness clearance from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) following an injury he sustained in December 2022. However, PBKS fans eagerly await his arrival, hoping he will add to the team’s already impressive batting line-up.

PBKS will now face the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad, on Sunday, April 9. SRH has had a tough start to the season, losing both matches. Aiden Markram and his team will be looking to secure their first win of the season against PBKS and stay in the race for the playoffs.
