Matthew Short (5.5/10): Looked impressive during his stay at the crease. Scored 34 off 22 balls with the aid of five fours and a six. Could not build on the start.
Harpreet Singh Bhatia (4.5/10): Scored a run-a-ball 22. Was caught off Krunal Pandya’s bowling.
Sikandar Raza (9/10): Claimed the wicket of Deepak Hooda with the ball. Played the game-defining knock with the bat, slamming 57 off 41 balls. His knock included four fours and three sixes and put PBKS on course for victory.
Sam Curran (9/10): Excelled with the ball, claiming the wickets of Marcus Stoinis, K Gowtham and Yudhvir Singh. Ended with figures of 3/31. With the ball, was dismissed for a run-a-ball 6.
Jitesh Sharma (1/10): Failed with the bat. Perished for 2 off 4 balls, brilliantly caught by KL Rahul off Mark Wood’s bowling.
Shahrukh Khan (9/10): Had a terrific all-round game. Took three catches, two of them brilliant ones. Played a superb cameo, remaining unbeaten on 23 off 10, hitting one four and two sixes.
Harpreet Brar (5/10): Bowled two overs for 10 and dismissed Kyle Mayers. Scored an important boundary towards the end of the game.
Kagiso Rabada (8/10): Got the big wickets of Krunal Pandya and Nicholas Pooran in one over to set LSG back. Ended with figures of 2/34.
Rahul Chahar (3/10): Bowled three overs for 28. Went wicketless.
Arshdeep Singh (5/10): Bowled three overs for 22 runs. Got the big wicket of KL Rahul.
Lucknow Super Giants
KL Rahul (9/10): Top-scored for his team with 74 off 56 balls. Struck eight fours and a six to hold the LSG innings together. Fell in the penultimate over to Arshdeep Singh.
Kyle Mayers (5/10): Looked good in his 29 off 23 balls. Hit three sixes and a four. Holed out while trying to take on Harpreet Brar.
Deepak Hooda (1/10): Feel cheaply in his 100th IPL game. Was trapped lbw by Sikandar Raza for 2.
Marcus Stoinis (4/10): Hit two sixes, but was sent back by Sam Curran for 15 off 11 balls.
Krunal Pandya (5/10): Perished to Kagiso Rabada for 18 off 17. Claimed 1/32 in three overs. Sent back Harpreet Singh.
