Virender Sehwag Shahid Afridi dressing sense
During their playing days, Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akhtar never had friendly relations on the field.

Ben Stokes-led England side scripted history and broke plethora of records on Thursday when they ended the play on Day 1 of the first Test with a score of 506/4.

A record four batters scored centuries and displayed the Bazball style. The Three Lions demolished Pakistani bowlers and put the highest score by a team on day one of a Test match.

Experts and fans hailed England’s performance but at the same time trolled the Ramiz Raja-chaired PCB for making a batters-friendly pitch at the Rawalpindi stadium.

A former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar also jumped into the conversation and voiced his opinion. He took a dig at the Pakistani bowlers and tweeted, “England played this well after being unwell, imagine what they would have done had they been healthy.”

Akhtar posted another tweet praising England’s cricket and credited them for reinventing the red ball cricket. His tweet did not go well with the disappointed Pakistani fans, who trolled Akhtar for not talking about the flat pitch into account behind England’s good performance.

Here are some of the reactions by the fans reminding Akhtar of the flat wicket.
